The ADAMgel group is a group of individuals who are all interested in the same thing: low-cost, high-fidelity simulation.
Created by Johann Willers, Aqueous Dietary fibre Antifreeze Mix gel (ADAMgel) is a tissue mimicking material that can be used to make phantoms fulfilling these criteria. ADAMgel can be layered and moulded and has self-healing properties so it can be reused and recycled.
So far, we have created numerous phantoms including front of neck access models, ultrasound vascular access models and FAST scan models.
